Do I have to change my number?
No. You turn on call forwarding on your phone, and calls you don't answer go to Sofía. On Verizon it's *71 plus the number; on T-Mobile, **61*1 plus the number and #. Full guide, including AT&T and landlines.
Which calendar do I need?
Google Calendar. You share it with hola@usecontesta.com with permission to make changes, and Sofía checks your busy times before offering an appointment. We don't connect to other booking systems yet. How booking works.
What do your callers hear?
Sofía answers with your business name, says she's the virtual assistant and that the call may be recorded, and continues in the caller's language.
What happens after I sign up?
You set up your business in your account (services, hours, answers), connect your calendar and add your card to start the trial (once activation is available; we’ll email you). We build your Contesta number, you test it from your cell and, once it works, you turn on forwarding. Step by step.

What everyone asks.
Does Sofía say she's an AI?
Yes. When she answers she says she's the virtual assistant. If someone asks whether she's a robot, she confirms it and offers to take the appointment or message.
What if someone asks something she doesn't know?
She doesn't make it up. She takes name, number and reason, and tells you in the summary, including the exact question she couldn't answer.
Does she send text messages?
Not yet. Today summaries reach you by email after every call.
Can she pass urgent calls to me?
Yes, on Pro and Max: during business hours, for urgent calls, complaints, or when a caller asks for you.
How do I pause the service?
Turn forwarding off from your phone (on Verizon, *73; on T-Mobile, ##61#) and calls ring only on your phone again.
Does it work outside Florida?
For now we serve businesses in Florida, on Eastern time.
