Appointments straight into your Google Calendar.
Sofía never books over anything: she checks your busy times before offering a time and only confirms once the event exists.
How she books during a call
- Asks which service and which day.
- Checks that day's busy times in your Google Calendar.
- Offers two open times within your hours, with your minimum notice and buffer, using the service length.
- Takes the name and confirms the phone (offers the number they're calling from).
- Creates the event. She only says "confirmed" if the calendar accepted it; if the time got taken, she offers two others.
- If anything fails, she takes the request as a message and you confirm.
That's what happened in our real demo call: she offered Thursday 3:00 and 4:00 p.m., the caller chose 4:00 and the event was created. Listen
How it connects
- On a computer, open Google Calendar → Settings and pick your calendar.
- Under "Share with specific people", add hola@usecontesta.com with "Make changes to events".
- In your Contesta account, enter the calendar email and tap Check: we really test reading and writing.
With that permission, Contesta can see that calendar's events and create appointments. We use busy times to avoid double-booking. You can remove access any time; Sofía goes back to taking appointments as messages.
What goes in the event
Title: service and caller name. Description: "Agendada por Contesta", name, phone, service and, when it applies, the service address and the answers to your booking questions (for example, year, make and model).
Today's limits
- One calendar: one appointment at a time. If you have several bays, chairs or crews, Sofía won't book two appointments at the same time.
- Google Calendar only. It doesn't connect to other booking, shop-management or point-of-sale systems.
- Books in Eastern time (Florida).
- It doesn't take deposits or payments.
