Who we are

What we collect

From businesses that use Contesta: email, business name and plan; the setup they give us (services and prices, hours, address or service area, owner name, cell, business phone, transfer number, calendar email); and account activity (steps completed, dates).
From people who call those businesses: phone number, a recording of the call, an automatic transcript, what they tell the assistant (name, callback number, appointment details and, when relevant, the service address) and a call summary.
From visitors to this site: a first-party record of pages viewed, language, plan clicked, the general source of the visit (for example "Google" or "direct") and a random session ID. We use no cookies, and that record has no names, emails or phone numbers. Your browser stores your language choice, how you first arrived and your sign-in session for the account page.

How we use it

To answer and route calls for our customers, book appointments in their calendar, send call summaries, let customers sign in with an emailed link, provide support, and measure in aggregate how the site and signup perform.

Calendar access

If a business turns on booking, it shares one Google Calendar with hola@usecontesta.com. We read that calendar's events to find busy times and create appointments in it. Removing the share ends access.

Service providers that process data for us

Retell AI (phone numbers, voice AI, call recordings and transcripts); Google Workspace (email, calendar, spreadsheets and the automation that runs the service); GitHub (website hosting); Namecheap (domain).

Selling data

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep data

Call recordings and full transcripts: deleted after 90 days.
Account data, including the call log (date, number, name, reason and a short summary): deleted 12 months after cancellation.
Website visit records: up to 24 months.
Summaries we email to a business owner stay in that owner's inbox, which they control. The demo recording on this site is of a simulated caller and is kept.

Your choices

Businesses can update their setup in their account and ask us to delete their data. Someone who called a business can ask that business, or us at hola@usecontesta.com, to delete their call records. We respond within 30 days.

Children

The service is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13.
